RIYADH: The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah will host the second edition of the Umrah and Ziyarah Forum from April 14 to 16 at the King Salman International Convention Center in Madinah.
Held under the theme “Enriching the Experience of Umrah Performers and Visitors,” the three-day global forum is organized in partnership with the Pilgrim Experience Program and aims to advance services for pilgrims through innovation, collaboration, and investment.
Building on the success of last year’s inaugural forum, this year’s event will focus on setting new standards for Umrah and visitation services, emphasizing digital transformation, smart technologies, and sustainable growth in the sector.
The forum will welcome more than 150 organizations from over 100 countries, with over 25,000 visitors expected.
Attendees will include service providers, business leaders, government officials, investors, nonprofit organizations, and media representatives.
The event will feature specialized sessions, interactive exhibitions, and workshops covering a wide range of topics related to enhancing the pilgrim experience. Key areas of focus will include:
Smart technologies and digital tools to improve service delivery, Health and safety initiatives for visitors and Development of modern transportation systems for pilgrims.
Workshops will bring together decision-makers and experts to discuss sector opportunities, share solutions, and explore new services aimed at improving operational efficiency and overall experience for Umrah performers and visitors.
