Saudi-based company to build pet food factory

Delicious Food Factory (DFF), located in Jeddah, to build a new 55,000 square-meter pet food factory in the Middle East. DFF announced to construct the largest pet food factory in the North of the Capital, Riyadh, that will produce 100,000 tons per year.
The construction of the factory is expected to be completed by the year 2026. The new factory will have a production capacity of 60,000 tons of dry food and 40,000 tons of wet food per annum.
DFF, founded in the year 2020 says the new facility would produce its cats food brands Purevet and Horayra, and Kulaib brand which is newly introduced, would be devoted to dog food.
Saud Al Suhaimi, chairman, said that the factory strives to meet the rising demand for high-quality pet food. He further added that the primary motive of the factory is to contribute to increasing the local GDP and boosting the sustainable economy. Saudia's pet food market is driven by the rising trend of anthropomorphism and increasing concerns regarding pet health.
