RIYADH: Saudi Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji met with Phillipe Lazzarini, the Commissioner-General of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), in Riyadh on Tuesday.
The meeting focused on Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts to support the Palestinian people and ways to enhance cooperation between the Kingdom and UNRWA.
Elkhereiji reiterated the Kingdom's commitment to providing assistance to Palestinians and working closely with the agency.
In a separate meeting, Elkhereiji also spoke with British Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Neil Crompton.
The two discussed the strengthening of bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and the UK, as well as regional and international developments.
