Saudi Driver Yazeed Al Rajhi Injured in Baja Jordan Crash

Jeddah: Saudi rally driver Yazeed Al Rajhi and co-driver Timo Gottschalk were forced to retire from the Baja Jordan 2025 after an accident during the second stage on Saturday.

Al-Rajhi had been leading the race for two days and was heading toward his first win in Jordan when his Toyota hit an obstacle at high speed.

Both drivers were airlifted to the hospital for medical evaluation, where they were found to be conscious and stable.

Al-Rajhi later shared details of the incident, revealing that medical tests confirmed he had fractured two vertebrae in his spine, while Gottschalk fractured four.

Al-Rajhi also mentioned that his private plane was waiting at Aqaba airport to take him back to Riyadh for further treatment.
