Saudi, Pakistani Entrepreneurs Honored for Vision 2030 in Riyadh

RIYADH: The Pakistani Executive Organization for Promotion of Leadership and Entrepreneurship (PEOPLE) hosted a sahoor and awards ceremony in Riyadh, recognizing outstanding Saudi and Pakistani entrepreneurs, executives, and business leaders for their contributions to Saudi Vision 2030.

The event underscored the growing collaboration between Saudis and the Pakistani diaspora in trade, investment, and various sectors, with participants expressing optimism for strengthening these ties further.

Prominent attendees included Princess Nourah Al-Faisal Al-Saud, Assistant Minister of Investment Ibrahim Al-Mubarak, and Esra Assery from the Ministry of Media, alongside key Pakistani professionals and executives.

Awards were presented to individuals who have played a significant role in Saudi Arabia’s economic progress through their professional achievements. PEOPLE Chairman Mehmood Khan and President Kashif Khan highlighted the Kingdom’s rapid economic growth and the vast opportunities available for Pakistani professionals.

The organization aims to connect Saudi entrepreneurs with the Pakistani diaspora, fostering entrepreneurship, networking, and mentorship for young professionals while supporting Vision 2030 initiatives.

Princess Nourah praised the strong bilateral ties, emphasizing the growing trade and investment links and the value of shared experiences between both nations.

Majid Mufti, CEO of NEOM Investment Fund, underscored the importance of this collaboration, while Arab News Editor-in-Chief Faisal J. Abbas recognized PEOPLE as a vital entrepreneurial platform.

The event was co-hosted by PEOPLE and Key Facilities Management Saudia. Junaid Khan, CEO of Key Facilities Management Saudia, spoke about the importance of giving back to Saudi Arabia in gratitude for its role in his professional growth. He also highlighted the increasing opportunities in facilities management, anticipating significant demand in the coming years.

Atif Khurshid Khan, a senior adviser at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, discussed Saudi Arabia’s transformative economic landscape and the unprecedented opportunities available for Pakistanis and international entrepreneurs to contribute to Vision 2030.

The ceremony concluded with a reaffirmation of commitment to fostering new partnerships and strengthening cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. The recognition of professionals from both nations served as a testament to their enduring relationship, driven by a shared vision for progress and prosperity.
