Saudi SDAIA Showcases Research at Global AI Conference

The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) participated in the 29th Conference on Empirical Methods in Natural Language Processing (EMNLP), which concluded on November 15. The event brought together 3,500 AI researchers and scientists from around the world, featuring over 2,300 scientific papers.

SDAIA presented two groundbreaking papers during the conference:

1. "A Systematic Survey and Critical Review of the Evaluation of Large Language Models: Challenges, Limitations, and Recommendations"

2. "Exploring Compatibility in Multilingual Shared Spaces"

Dr. Yaser Al-Onaizan, CEO of the National Center for Artificial Intelligence (NCAI) and co-chair of the scientific committee, highlighted SDAIA's commitment to advancing AI research and innovation. He emphasized the importance of fostering development in data and AI to position Saudi Arabia as a key player in data-driven economies.
