Riyadh: It is confirmed on Friday that the 2025 Saudi Super Cup will stage its highly anticipated semifinals in Hong Kong from August 19 to 23. The draw pits Al Nassr against Al Ittihad while defending champions Al Hilal take on rising challengers Al Qadsiah.
Organized without seeding, the matchups promise intense showdowns between Saudi football giants. Al Hilal, the tournament’s most decorated team, aims to defend its title, while Al Qadsiah seeks a breakthrough in its Super Cup debut.
Al Nassr and Al Ittihad, rich in rivalry and history, look to kick off their seasons with a trophy. The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) is hosting the event abroad as part of a strategic push to globalize its domestic leagues and strengthen international sports ties.
The initiative is spearheaded by SMC Group, aiming to link global partners with Saudi Arabia’s growing sports economy. All matches will be played at the historic 40,000-seat Hong Kong Stadium, emphasizing Saudi Arabia’s expanding football footprint in Asia.
