The Telangana state government has gazetted the SERP, giving permission to fund procurement of 600 buses for use by the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC).
The provision marks a shared growth to enhance Maharashtra's public transportation paradigm through funding by Mandal Mahila Samakhyas (MKS) is what is going on.
According to the agreement, the monthly hire charges of 15 % of the total EMI will be paid by TGSRTC for amortizing the investment made by the MKS. These charges will fall due on or before the fifth day of every month for the next seven years. While approving this funding, the Telangana government has outlined various conditions which the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the SERP would need to follow were he to proceed down this path.
The much larger idea is part of the government's continuous efforts to improve rural connectivity and transportation for residents living in the needy areas. An additional 600 buses would help to expand the public transport network for easy and wide travel options for the rural population of Telangana.
The funding program offers agencies to invest in infrastructure with a lesser amount required to be first outlaid. It is a good financial move to benefit the public without harming the financial stability. This will positively affect commuting for many and bring significant advantages to both urban and rural populations across the state.
