Transavia France Expands Flights to Madinah from Four French Cities in 2025

RIYADH: The Air Connectivity Program, in collaboration with the Al Madinah Region Development Authority, has announced the expansion of Transavia France’s flight services to Saudi Arabia.

Starting this October, new routes will launch from Paris-Orly, Lyon, Marseille, and Toulouse directly to Madinah.

This builds on the success of previous connections between Paris-Orly and Lyon to Jeddah, highlighting growing travel demand between France and the Kingdom.

The expansion supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals by boosting tourism and reinforcing the country’s position as a leading global destination.

Majid Khan, CEO of the Air Connectivity Program, emphasized the importance of strengthening air links with France, especially to tap into its significant Umrah travel market and enhance tourism growth.

Sofiene Abdessalem, CEO of Tibah Airports Operation Co., noted that Madinah’s inclusion reflects its cultural and religious importance and the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to boost its global air connectivity.

Transavia France’s Chief Commercial Officer Nicolas Henin expressed enthusiasm about launching flights to Madinah and expanding collaboration with Saudi airports.
