WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump will undertake a three-nation tour of the Middle East next month, White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt announced on Tuesday.
The visit, scheduled from May 13 to May 16, will include stops in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. It marks Trump’s second foreign trip since resuming office.
His first overseas visit will be to the Vatican this Saturday, where he is expected to attend the funeral of Pope Francis.
Leavitt did not provide further details on the Middle East tour during the briefing.
