RIYADH: Volvo has officially returned to Saudi Arabia, marking a new era in sustainable mobility with the launch of its first-ever New Energy Vehicles showroom in Riyadh. Electromin, the exclusive distributor of Volvo Cars in the Kingdom, is leading this initiative, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030’s push for green transportation.
Under the 'Come Back Stronger' campaign, Volvo reaffirms its commitment to innovation, safety, and electrification. Petromin Group CEO Kalyana Sivagnanam hailed the move as a transformative moment for the Kingdom’s automotive industry, emphasizing the groundbreaking nature of Volvo’s showroom launch.
Mark Notkin, CIO of Electromin, highlighted the brand’s comprehensive EV service ecosystem, which includes free charging, home charger installations, and nationwide after-sales support. Meanwhile, Moris Bayar, Volvo Cars’ Managing Director for Importers EMEA, expressed enthusiasm about expanding Volvo’s footprint in Saudi Arabia with Electromin as a strategic partner.
