Quetta: The spokesperson for the Government of Balochistan, Shahid Rind, announced on Wednesday that doctors in the province have called off their strike after successful negotiations with the government.
He stated that all matters between the Balochistan government, healthcare workers, and striking employees, including doctors, paramedics, and other categories, have been amicably resolved.
"The government has assured that in the future, every effort will be made to avoid strikes and protests. A coordinated mechanism will be put in place to address the legitimate demands of healthcare employees," the spokesperson added.
The strike was initially announced last week in protest against the arrest of some doctors, which caused significant difficulties for patients seeking medical care.
