Abu Dhabi: Erth Abu Dhabi will host the Zayed Sports Tournament 2025 Juniors, a premier youth sporting event dedicated to fostering unity and excellence during Ramadan.
Organized in partnership with the Supreme Council for Motherhood & Childhood and Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the tournament runs from March 2 to March 16, 2025, showcasing the UAE’s top young athletes.
Honoring the legacy of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the tournament has welcomed over 42,453 athletes, 69,620 visitors, and 716 teams since its inception in 1997, with total prizes exceeding AED 28.9 million. This year’s edition at Erth Abu Dhabi will feature competitions in football (U10 & U12), jiu-jitsu, chess, gymnastics, and swimming, with a prize pool of AED 104,600.
Lieutenant General (Rtd) Mohamed Helal Alkaabi, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, emphasized, “This tournament is more than just a competition, it's a celebration of teamwork, dedication, and the values Sheikh Zayed stood for.”
