Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki to Chair 40th Executive Office Meeting of Arab National Olympic Committees in Amman

Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, President of the Union of Arab National Olympic Committees (UANOC), will chair the 40th executive office meeting and the 22nd general assembly scheduled for Thursday in Amman. The event will be attended by the presidents of Arab national Olympic committees and will cover a range of crucial topics for the region’s sporting future.

Among the key agenda items, the selection of host countries for the 17th and 18th Arab Games, scheduled for 2031 and 2035, will be discussed. The assembly will also review technical and administrative reports, including a recap of the 15th Arab Sports Games held in Algeria last year. Another important topic is the upcoming 2024 Arab Women’s Club Sports Games in Sharjah, UAE.

The union’s 2023 annual report and financial statements, including an audit report for the fiscal year ending December 2023, will also be presented, marking a significant step in ensuring transparency and accountability for the region’s sports initiatives.
