Saudi Arabia Launches AI Startup Incubator to Boost Digital Innovation

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia has launched a new initiative to support the growth of artificial intelligence startups through a specialized incubator program introduced by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

The move highlights the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to become a leading digital innovation hub in the region and to strengthen AI’s role in driving economic development.

The program, organized by the ministry’s Center of Digital Entrepreneurship, includes 20 selected AI startups.

It is designed to help innovators transform their ideas into practical technology solutions. Targeting tech enthusiasts, professionals, and industry leaders, the four-month program provides a range of resources to support startup success.

Participants receive comprehensive training, financial backing through the National Technology Development Program, one-on-one mentorship, digital tools, networking opportunities, and access to office space.

These services aim to create a strong foundation for entrepreneurs to develop and scale their AI-driven projects.

The initiative is being carried out in partnership with key organizations such as the Saudi Data and AI Authority, the Saudi Company for Artificial Intelligence, SambaNova, and BIM Ventures. Together, they are building a collaborative and innovation-friendly environment where emerging tech businesses can thrive.

This incubator program aligns with Saudi Vision 2030’s goal to diversify the economy, support emerging technologies, and foster a knowledge-based society.

Through such efforts, Saudi Arabia continues to solidify its status as a leader in the digital economy and a center for technological advancement in the Middle East.
