ADEN: Yemeni Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Braik has praised the economic, developmental, and humanitarian support provided by the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During a cabinet meeting held on Wednesday in Aden, the prime minister emphasized that the Saudi-led support has played a pivotal role in enabling the Yemeni government to fulfill its essential duties and obligations.
According to the official Yemen News Agency (SABA), bin Braik noted that the assistance has also contributed significantly to easing the humanitarian suffering of the Yemeni people amid ongoing challenges.
Saudi Arabia has provided substantial financial assistance to Yemen, including grants exceeding $18 billion and additional humanitarian aid totaling over $500 million. This support encompasses direct deposits of $2 billion to the Yemeni Central Bank for economic stability, alongside efforts to expand ports and facilitate the flow of critical humanitarian aid and commercial supplies
The Kingdom has continued providing significant humanitarian aid, pledging substantial funds to support Yemen’s economic stability and relief needs amid ongoing challenges.
