RIYADH: Saudi Deputy Minister for Political Affairs Saud Al-Sati held a meeting on Tuesday in Riyadh with Helena Malcata, Director-General of Foreign Policy at the Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting marked the second round of political consultations between Saudi Arabia and Portugal, according to a statement from the Saudi Foreign Ministry on X (formerly Twitter).
Both sides discussed bilateral relations and explored ways to strengthen cooperation across various fields.
The meeting was also attended by Nuno Matias, the Portuguese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, highlighting the high-level nature of the dialogue and the commitment from both sides to maintain continuous communication.
This round of consultations reflects the ongoing efforts by Saudi Arabia and Portugal to build a robust partnership, leveraging their strategic interests and shared goals in regional and international affairs.
