RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with U.S. Envoy to the Syrian Arab Republic, Thomas Barrack, in Riyadh on Wednesday.
According to a post by the Saudi Foreign Ministry on X (Formerly Twitter), the two officials discussed ways to support the Syrian people, focusing on economic, humanitarian, and other forms of assistance.
In a separate meeting, Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed Elkhereiji received Italian Ambassador to the Kingdom, Carlo Balducci.
Their talks covered bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest underscoring ongoing cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Italy.
This meeting aligns with broader Saudi-Italian engagement, including recent business forums in Milan focused on enhancing economic, trade, and cultural ties.
