Sennar: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has distributed 900 food baskets to vulnerable displaced families in Sudan’s Blue Nile State, benefiting 4,050 individuals.
The initiative is part of the 2025 Food Security Support Project in Sudan and reflects Saudi Arabia’s continued efforts to assist the Sudanese people and strengthen food security through KSrelief.
Since its launch, KSrelief has played a vital role in supporting Sudan during ongoing crises: including, distributing over 33,000 food baskets to displaced families, delivering 125 tons of dates to combat food insecurity, providing $100 million in humanitarian aid, including medical and relief support.
Additionally, offering financial support to orphaned children and their families, doubling aid projects since April 2023, with 70+ initiatives worth over $73 million and Collaborating with Sudanese officials on reconstruction in energy, health, and water sectors.
