Note: This is a voluntary, unpaid position intended for individuals looking to build a global portfolio, gain international exposure, and contribute to a humanity-centric media platform.
Role Title: Journalist (Voluntary) – Global Contributor Program
Important Requirement: Applicants must have their own established readership and a strong digital presence across one or more social media platforms (such as Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, blogs, or other online publishing channels), with an engaged audience and consistent content output.
Role Expectations:
Contributors are expected to actively participate in and support one or more of the following editorial, reporting, content creation, or media engagement responsibilities based on their skills and interests:
• Strong interest in human-interest stories, constructive journalism, and unbiased reporting
• Ability to create digital content such as 60–90 second mobile interviews, photo stories, and short opinion videos
• A solid understanding of local and regional issues for a global audience
• Volunteer commitment of 3–5 stories, reports, articles, or digital updates per month
• Coverage opportunities include regional news, humanitarian stories, investigative reports, commentary, op-eds, event coverage, photojournalism, video reports, newsletters, and interviews with change makers and leaders
