EARTHQUAKE: measuring 6.6 on the Richter scale has struck Ishikawa Prefecture and several other central Japanese prefectures. Fortunately, no tsunami warnings have been issued following the seismic event.

Details of the Earthquake: According to a press release from the Japan Meteorological Agency, the earthquake's epicenter was located at a depth of 7 kilometers.
