SEOUL, South Korea: The South Korean capital has been hit by record-breaking snowfall, bringing life to a standstill. According to international news agencies, the heavy snow has disrupted traffic, caused power outages, and led to the suspension of over 200 flights and 70 ferry services.

Accidents and Warnings Amid Severe Weather: On the eastern highways, traffic accidents caused by icy conditions claimed the lives of two individuals, while falling debris from buildings and construction sites injured several pedestrians. The South Korean Meteorological Department reported that the snowfall has reached 18 inches, marking the highest recorded snowfall in Seoul since 1907.
