During the opening ceremony, Liu Guiqing, executive director of China Telecom Corporation, outlined the company's vision to leverage its expertise in 5G, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence to deliver innovative communication products and services to Saudi enterprises, institutions, and consumers.

Fawaz Mshaal Alshaalan, deputy general manager of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Riyadh Branch, emphasized that the establishment of China Telecom Gulf represents a crucial initiative to support the digital transformation of businesses in Saudi Arabia.

As one of China's three major telecom giants, China Telecom offers a range of services, including cloud computing, quantum technology, and tailored 5G networks. The company currently operates branches in 42 countries and regions, underscoring its global reach.

At the launch event, China Telecom Gulf and Saudi Telecom Company signed an agreement to enhance collaboration in the Internet of Things (IoT), paving the way for innovative solutions and improved connectivity in the Kingdom.

This strategic partnership aims to foster technological advancements and drive economic growth in Saudi Arabia, aligning with the country's Vision 2030 goals for digital transformation and modernization.
