According to an anonymous official connected to Canadian national security, the conspiracy to kill Najjar was orchestrated by Indian Home Minister Amit Shah. The report alleges that Modi, along with Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, were also informed about the plans.

The Canadian national security official underscored that such a conspiracy would have necessitated discussions at the highest levels of the Indian government.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Commissioner Mike Duhamel confirmed last month that there is evidence linking India to the murders of not only Hardeep Singh Najjar but also three other Sikh individuals.

This revelation follows a press conference held by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau last year, where he presented evidence of Indian involvement in Najjar's murder and subsequently expelled a diplomat from the Modi government. Since then, diplomatic tensions between Canada and India have escalated significantly, straining relations between the two nations.

As investigations continue, the implications of these findings may further complicate the already fraught diplomatic landscape.
