GCC Ministerial Meeting Reviews Gaza and Lebanon Developments

KUWAIT: The 162nd GCC Preparatory Ministerial Meeting, chaired by Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya, convened on Thursday to discuss pressing regional and international issues, including the ongoing situations in Gaza and Lebanon. Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan participated in the discussions, held ahead of the 45th GCC Supreme Council session scheduled for December 1 in Kuwait City.

During the meeting, GCC foreign ministers emphasized the urgent need for a ceasefire in Gaza and a comprehensive resolution to the Palestinian issue. They also reviewed joint Gulf action initiatives and explored strategies to strengthen the bloc’s relationships with global partners. The Saudi delegation included Ambassador Prince Sultan bin Saad bin Khalid, Deputy Foreign Minister Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi, and other senior officials, highlighting Saudi Arabia’s commitment to regional cooperation.
