Islamabad, Pakistan: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has issued a heartfelt message to the nation and PTI workers from jail, lauding their resilience and peaceful protests against what he termed as the “mafia imposed on the country.”
Salutes to the Nation and PTI Supporters: In his statement, Khan said, "I salute the people of Pakistan and PTI workers who have stood for their rights, joined peaceful protests, and firmly demanded true freedom in the face of oppression."
Message to the PTI Team: Fight Till the Last Ball: Addressing his team, he urged them to persist in their struggle until their demands are met. "Fight till the last ball; we will not back down until our demands are fulfilled," he emphasized.
Accusations Against Authorities: Khan accused authorities, acting on Mohsin Naqvi's orders, of firing on peaceful protesters and using tear gas. "Rangers and police have martyred and injured peaceful citizens. They will be held accountable," he stated, adding that despite the aggression, citizens were seen rescuing law enforcement personnel during the chaos.
Appreciation for Overseas Pakistanis and Social Media Warriors: He expressed gratitude to overseas Pakistanis for their mobilization, funding efforts, and organizing historic protests worldwide. He also commended social media activists for amplifying the demands and highlighting injustices in Pakistan globally.
Defiance Against Military Court Threats: Khan issued a defiant message to those threatening him with trial in a military court. "Do what you want; I will not back down from my stance," he declared. Call to Action: He urged those yet to join the protests to reach D-Chowk. "Remain peaceful, united, and steadfast until our demands are met. This is a struggle for Pakistan’s survival and true independence," he concluded
