Jeddah witnessed an exciting display of strength and teamwork as thousands participated in the International Tug of War competition, organized by the Jeddah KMCC Central Committee. Despite being planned in a short time, the event amazed everyone with its scale and organization.
Teams from different regions competed with great enthusiasm, fostering friendship and sportsmanship. The competition was inaugurated by Saudi KMCC National Committee President Kunjimon Kakiya, with Jeddah KMCC Central Committee Acting President C.K. Razak Master presiding over the ceremony. The matches were intense, with participants showcasing incredible endurance as the crowd cheered them on.
Held at Jeddah Khalid Walid, Al Ruzuk Stadium, the event revived the traditional sport of Tug of War, once popular in Kerala. A total of 15 teams from Saudi Arabia and the UAE battled for victory in multiple rounds.
The winners were:

🥈 Second Prize: PMYK Mundapuram Team – SAR 6,001
🥉 Third Prize: KMCC Nilambur Constituency – SAR 4,001
🏅 Fourth Prize: Start Alien UAE Canadian Team – SAR 2,001
The audience was welcomed by VP Mustafa, while Zakariya Aralam expressed gratitude to all participants and supporters. Prominent community leaders and sports enthusiasts praised Jeddah KMCC for organizing such an inclusive and engaging event.
This international competition once again highlighted Jeddah’s role as a center of cultural unity, bringing together people from different backgrounds in a fun and competitive spirit.
