AL HUDAYDAH: Mobile nutrition clinics supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) in Al-Khawkhah District, Al Hudaydah Governorate, Yemen, delivered medical services to 15,364 individuals during May.
The clinics provided a wide range of healthcare services: the emergency clinic treated 3,956 cases; internal medicine received 2,327 patients; epidemiology served 1,309; pediatrics attended to 1,096 children; and the reproductive health clinic saw 1,318 individuals. Additionally, 801 people visited the mobile team clinic, and 60 cases were handled by the maternity unit.
Health awareness programs reached 3,451 individuals, while the surgery and wound dressing clinic treated 658 people. The therapeutic nutrition clinic served 203 patients, the immunization unit saw 132 individuals, and 53 cases were referred for further care.
Supporting services included dispensing medication to 10,515 patients, conducting 8,085 primary healthcare visits, 5,787 laboratory tests, 44 blood transfusions, and 20 electrocardiograms (ECGs), bringing the total services delivered to 39,815.
These efforts reflect KSrelief’s ongoing commitment to improving healthcare access and outcomes for vulnerable communities in Yemen.
