Al-Rimal: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has inaugurated a new obstetrics and gynecology clinic at the Patient Friends Benevolent Society Hospital in Gaza City’s Al-Rimal neighborhood.
Established in 1980, the hospital is among the few still operating in the Gaza Strip amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, which began in October 2023.
The clinic was launched in collaboration with the UN Population Fund (UNFPA), which supports reproductive and maternal health services globally.
In a related move, Saudi authorities on Thursday delivered $30 million in financial aid to the Palestinian Authority.
This latest installment of ongoing support is helping sustain the health and education sectors by covering hospital operations, medicine procurement, and school services.
The initiative is part of Saudi Arabia’s broader efforts to support the Palestinian people and enhance access to essential healthcare services in the region.
