London: Scarlett Johansson revisited her childhood memories as she attended the London premiere of Jurassic World: Rebirth at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square. The Hollywood star, known for her role as Black Widow, recalled watching Jurassic Park in theaters at age 10, telling Reuters it “imprinted on me very deeply.”
She said she had dreamt of joining the franchise for over 30 years. Directed by Gareth Edwards, the film follows a group of specialists, including Johansson and Bridgerton’s Jonathan Bailey, who travel to a forbidden island linked to the original Jurassic Park.
Their mission: collect dinosaur DNA to develop a critical medical breakthrough. Rupert Friend, another cast member, praised the adventure and thrill of the story. Edwards admitted feeling pressure only once he saw the crowd at the premiere.
The Jurassic Park series, created by Michael Crichton, continues its legacy with this latest Universal Pictures installment, which will be released in theaters on July 2.
