KSrelief Distributes Sacrificial Meat to Thousands in Yemen, Syria, and Somalia for Eid Al-Adha

Hadhramaut/Damascus/Mogadishu: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continued its annual sacrificial meat distribution project for Eid Al-Adha, benefiting thousands of vulnerable families across Yemen, Syria, and Somalia.

In Hadhramaut, Yemen, KSrelief distributed 320 sacrificial animals, supporting 640 families as part of its broader project aimed at reaching 58,520 individuals in Aden, Hadhramaut, Al-Mahra, and Marib.

In Syria, the center distributed 622 sacrificial animals in the governorates of Idlib, Damascus, Rif Dimashq, and Deir ez-Zor, benefiting 1,244 families.

Meanwhile, in Mogadishu, Somalia, 400 sacrificial animals were distributed to 800 families in need.

Over the past three months, KSrelief ramped up aid in Somalia, Syria, and Yemen. In Somalia, it provided over 2,300 food baskets and 138 metric tons of dates. In Syria, it delivered 17 aid batches and conducted over 1,500 surgeries. In Yemen, it distributed food in Marib, completed a major medical program, and extended the Masam mine-clearing project.

These initiatives are part of KSrelief’s ongoing efforts to alleviate hardship and promote joy and social solidarity during Eid Al-Adha, reflecting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting vulnerable communities around the world.
