KHARTOUM/MARIB: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continues its efforts to support vulnerable communities in crisis-affected regions, delivering vital food assistance in both Sudan and Yemen.
In Sudan’s Khartoum State, KSrelief distributed 800 food baskets, benefiting 5,239 displaced individuals. The initiative is part of the 2025 Food Security Support Project in Sudan, aimed at mitigating the effects of the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
Meanwhile, in Yemen’s Marib Governorate, the center provided 2,780 cartons of dates to 16,680 people, including displaced persons, individuals with disabilities, and vulnerable families. The aid forms part of the 2025 date distribution project in Yemen.
Since its launch, KSrelief has implemented over 70 humanitarian projects in Sudan, providing more than $73 million in aid, including food parcels, dialysis machines, and support for displaced families. In Yemen, KSrelief has contributed over $320 million to health, food security, and resilience projects, partnering with WHO and WFP to deliver emergency food assistance, strengthen disease outbreak responses, and support agricultural livelihoods.
These efforts reflect the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s continued commitment, through KSrelief, to support affected populations and enhance food security in the region.
