Sources indicate that Khan had meticulously searched for these details before threatening Shah Rukh and demanding ₹50 lakh as extortion. This information came to light when the Bandra police recovered a second mobile phone belonging to the accused.

Currently, Faizan Khan is in judicial custody for 10 days. During police interrogation, he provided evasive and misleading answers regarding how he obtained the sensitive information.

The incident began on November 7, when Faizan called the Bandra Police landline and threatened to kill Shah Rukh Khan. Following this, the police registered a case against an unknown individual and initiated an investigation, leading to Khan's arrest in 36 Garh on November 12.
