Mumbai: Randeep Hooda has once again stunned fans with a bold transformation, debuting a partially shaved head in a dramatic new selfie posted to his social media. The black-and-white photo shows the actor staring into the camera with half his head clean-shaven, accompanied by the cryptic caption, “What’s the tea for this Tuesday? Coffee isn’t the only thing that’s brewing!”
While Hooda hasn’t officially revealed the reason behind the striking look, sources close to the actor confirmed it’s part of a recent trial for an upcoming film project. The actor is reportedly preparing for a new role, continuing his reputation for extreme physical transformations to portray his characters authentically.
A source noted, “Randeep always goes to lengths to look the part. This is just the beginning of another intense transformation.” He previously underwent significant changes in roles in Sarbjit, Main Aur Charles, and Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, where he portrayed freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar.
Recently, Hooda appeared alongside Sunny Deol in Jaat, the Hindi debut of director Gopichand Malineni, now streaming on Netflix. Up next, he stars in Matchbox, an action-comedy helmed by Extraction director Sam Hargrave. The film, set to release next year, features John Cena and a star-studded cast including Jessica Biel, Danai Gurira, and Corey Stoll. Inspired by Mattel’s Matchbox toy cars, the film promises high-octane fun.
