Record 1,400 UAE Students Compete in Yas STEM Finals 2025

Abu Dhabi: The 15th ADNOC Yas in Schools National Finals opened at Yas Marina Circuit with record participation, as 1,400 students from 113 UAE schools compete in STEM-focused contests until June 22.

The event features 310 teams tackling challenges in F1 in Schools, Formula Ethara, and 4x4 in Schools. Students design model race cars, craft branding strategies, and present projects in hopes of representing the UAE in the F1 in Schools global finals.

The program, organized by ADNOC and Yas Marina Circuit, supports national sustainability goals, youth empowerment, and a knowledge-based economy. Many teams include students from underrepresented groups, promoting inclusive innovation.

Since its launch, the initiative has generated over 1 million student engagement hours across 1,100 schools. Yas Marina Circuit’s GM, Ali Al-Beshr, praised the students’ ambition and ADNOC’s commitment to future-focused education. Winners will be announced during an online ceremony on June 24.
