Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has issued a strong condemnation of the Israeli military’s escalating ground operations in both northern and southern Gaza, calling the latest actions a significant expansion of occupation across large parts of the besieged territory.
In an official statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs criticized the Israeli actions as a violation of international law, human rights principles, and the core tenets of the United Nations Charter.
The Kingdom warned that the continuation of these military operations directly threatens the lives of Palestinian civilians and increases the already catastrophic humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
The statement described the Israeli actions as running counter to the collective will of the international community and as serious impediments to any ongoing or future efforts aimed at restoring peace and stability in the region.
Reaffirming its consistent stance, Saudi Arabia strongly denounced all ground offensives carried out by Israeli forces, and issued a firm warning against the persistence of what it termed “flagrant and unjustified violations.”
The Kingdom emphasized that these acts not only breach established international norms but also represent a direct assault on the rights and dignity of the Palestinian people.
