February 3, 2025, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier was greeted by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh. The close diplomatic relations between the two countries were highlighted during this visit. Prior to the leaders' formal meeting, which was centered on strengthening bilateral ties and talking about regional and global events, the Crown Prince conducted a reception ceremony.
Prince Mohammed and Steinmeier talked about ways to improve collaboration in the areas of politics, culture, and economy. Ongoing regional issues and cooperative attempts to handle them248 were also discussed at the summit. An important step in developing stronger connections between Germany and Saudi Arabia was Steinmeier's arrival in Saudi Arabia the night before the meeting.
