RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to fostering long-term, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth that benefits all segments of society while preserving environmental balance.
Speaking at the inaugural ASEAN-GCC-China Trilateral Summit, he emphasized accelerating the transition to low-carbon, clean, and renewable energy and leveraging China’s Belt and Road Initiative to enhance regional connectivity and integration between ASEAN and GCC countries.
Prince Faisal also highlighted efforts to develop the digital economy by empowering startups, expanding public-private partnerships, and promoting exchange programs to build resilient economies rooted in innovation and inclusiveness.
He noted that Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 reform program is dedicated to creating an attractive investment climate, facilitating trade, and removing barriers to commercial exchange.
The Kingdom aims to deepen cooperation across vital areas of mutual interest among the summit participants to establish a long-term strategic partnership that benefits their peoples and strengthens their global standing.
On international issues, Prince Faisal stressed the importance of collective action to secure a just and comprehensive resolution that upholds the rights of the Palestinian people, in line with international legitimacy and the Arab Peace Initiative.
He also expressed Saudi Arabia’s readiness to contribute to ending the conflict in Ukraine and achieving a sustainable, peaceful solution.
