MADRID: Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, arrived in Madrid on Saturday to participate in an expanded ministerial meeting focused on the situation in Gaza.
The meeting was convened by the committee formed during the Extraordinary Joint Arab-Islamic Summit and includes representatives from the Madrid Group and several European countries.
It aims to address the latest developments in Gaza and the West Bank, with particular attention on ending the ongoing conflict and easing the humanitarian crisis in the region.
Participants will also discuss preparations for a high-level international conference on the two-state solution, scheduled to be held at the United Nations headquarters in New York this June, co-hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and France.
