Trump Claims US ‘Had Nothing to Do’ with Attack on Iran but Warns of Severe Retaliation

Washington:  President Donald Trump has publicly denied any U.S. involvement in recent Israeli strikes against Iran’s nuclear and military sites, insisting that America “had nothing to do” with the attacks.

However, Trump delivered a stark warning to Tehran while celebrating the country’s army’s 250th anniversary, stating that if the United States is “attacked in any way, shape or form by Iran,” it would respond with “the full strength and might of the US Armed Forces” at an unprecedented level.

In a message posted on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump emphasized that despite current hostilities, a peaceful resolution remains possible. “However, we can easily get a deal done between Iran and Israel, and end this bloody conflict!!!” he wrote, suggesting diplomatic negotiations could still bring an end to the escalating violence.

Trump’s comments reflect a complex stance: distancing the U.S. from the initial Israeli military actions while underscoring a readiness for a severe military response if provoked. His statement comes amid growing international concerns over the potential for the Israel-Iran conflict to spiral into a wider regional war involving global powers.

The president’s message aims to balance deterrence with diplomacy, highlighting the volatile nature of U.S.-Iran relations and the precarious position Washington holds in the rapidly evolving Middle East crisis.
