Riyadh: During his visit to Saudi Arabia, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he would like to reach a deal with Iran.
In a speech delivered in Riyadh, Trump sharply criticized Iran, accusing it of seeking to destabilize the region and funding bloodshed in other countries.
However, the U.S. President emphasized that he was not in Saudi Arabia to condemn past controversial actions taken by Iranian leaders. Instead, he said he was offering a new path forward, one that promises a better and more hopeful future.
“I want to make a deal with Iran,” Trump remarked. "If I can make a deal with Iran, I would be very happy."
He further stated that if Iran's leadership rejects this offer and continues to attack its neighboring countries, the United States would have no choice but to intensify pressure on Iran, including reducing its oil exports to zero.
