Geneva: Tensions between Iran and Israel continue to rise as Iran's ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva made a clear and powerful statement on Wednesday. Ambassador Ali Bahreini warned that Iran will not hold back in its response to Israel’s military attacks.
Speaking to reporters, Bahreini said Iran will defend its people and land with full force. “We will not show any reluctance in defending our people, security and land,” he said. “We will respond seriously and strongly without restraint.”
This warning comes after several days of heavy Israeli airstrikes on Iranian cities and military facilities. Israel claims these attacks are aimed at weakening Iran’s missile and nuclear capabilities. In response, Iran has fired missiles toward Israeli cities, and the conflict has entered its sixth day with no signs of slowing down.
Iran’s message at the UN shows that the country is prepared for a bigger and more direct confrontation. The ambassador’s words suggest that Iran is no longer interested in quiet diplomacy or limited responses. Instead, it is preparing to strike back hard if Israeli attacks continue.
As both countries trade threats and missiles, the world watches with growing concern. The situation is turning into one of the most dangerous military stand-offs in the region in recent years, with each side refusing to back down.
