Riyadh: John Cena retained the Undisputed WWE Championship in a chaotic main event against CM Punk at Night of Champions. Defending his title for the second time since dethroning Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40, Cena faced longtime rival Punk in what may be their showdown. Punk seemed to have the match won after hitting a GTS, but a referee bump cost him the count.
Moments later, Seth Rollins attempted a cash-in, entering with his faction, The Vision. Cena stopped him with an Attitude Adjustment, but chaos broke loose as Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed joined the fray. Penta and Sami Zayn ran into even odds.
Punk offered Cena a handshake, only to trick him with a low-blow setup—but Cena reversed, setting up for the win. Rollins interfered again, attacking Punk, but Cena removed and pinned Punk to retain his title dramatically.
