KSrelief Clinics Serve 11,941 Patients in Jordan’s Zaatari Camp

AMMAN: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) delivered medical services to 11,941 patients at its clinics in the Zaatari refugee camp for Syrians in Jordan during May.

Among the services provided, General Medicine Clinics treated 3,727 patients, while 515 individuals received care for chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma at the Internal Medicine Clinic. Pediatric Clinics served 1,133 children, and the Dental Clinic treated 708 patients.

Two gynecology clinics attended to 1,130 women, and the Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic treated 266 cases involving infections of the sinuses, pharynx, tonsils, and middle ear. The Ophthalmology Clinic saw 278 patients, and 79 individuals received care at the Cardiology Clinic. Other departments included Diagnostic Radiology (185 patients), Dermatology (157), and Rehabilitation Medicine (152).

Throughout the month, 11,213 lab tests were conducted for 1,285 patients, and 985 diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and ultrasounds, were performed for 808 individuals. The Vaccination Clinic administered 534 doses, while 262 health education sessions were conducted, and 722 physical therapy sessions were provided. The Pharmacy dispensed 6,860 prescriptions during the same period.

The services reflect KSrelief’s continued commitment to supporting the healthcare needs of Syrian refugees in Jordan.
