Rif Dimashq: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed cartons of dates to 3,211 families in Syria’s Rif Dimashq Governorate, as part of its ongoing humanitarian assistance to the Syrian people.
The distribution underscores the Kingdom’s continued commitment to supporting those in need through sustainable and impactful humanitarian programs.
Over the past month, KSRelief partnered with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to launch a $5 million initiative aimed at rehabilitating 33 bread production units across eight Syrian governorates, including Rural Damascus, Dar’a, Lattakia, Homs, Hama, Deir-ez-Zor, and Aleppo.
The initiative is part of Saudi Arabia’s broader relief strategy, implemented through KSrelief, to support vulnerable and affected populations across the region.
