PARIS: Saudi Arabia, represented by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), is actively participating in the 2025 Paris Air Show, held from June 16 to 22, with a high-level delegation led by the Minister of Transport and Logistic Services and GACA Chairman Eng. Saleh Al-Jasser. Accompanied by GACA President Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, as well as CEOs and experts from the Kingdom’s aviation sector, the delegation seeks to advance Saudi Arabia’s civil aviation ambitions aligned with Vision 2030.
The Kingdom’s participation highlights its commitment to strengthening global air connectivity, fostering economic growth, and exploring strategic partnerships with international aviation and aerospace leaders. It also aims to promote investment opportunities, support the development of new air routes, and reinforce Saudi Arabia’s position as a regional and global aviation hub.
During the event, GACA President Abdulaziz Al-Duailej signed a bilateral air services agreement with the Republic of Panama. The agreement sets a regulatory framework for safe, efficient, and fair air transport between the two nations, in line with the 1944 Chicago Convention. It also supports Saudi Arabia’s civil aviation strategy to expand its air network to 250 destinations and increase annual passenger capacity to 330 million by 2030.
The Paris Air Show–Le Bourget, one of the world's most prestigious aviation events, offers a platform to showcase innovations, exchange expertise, and build international cooperation amid rising global demand for air travel.
