RIYADH: The Executive Office for Emergency Affairs of the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU), chaired by Saudi Arabia, convened a meeting with the participation of media leaders from member states.
ASBU President and CEO of the Saudi Broadcasting Authority, Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Harthi, opened the session by emphasizing the Union's dedication to advancing strategic initiatives. He noted that ASBU’s recent accomplishments demonstrate the success of its investment vision despite ongoing challenges.
The meeting reviewed progress on key projects, including the hotel initiative and the development of a cloud platform. Participants also examined marketing indicators, highlighting strong strides in attracting strategic partners and generating sustainable financial returns to bolster ASBU’s independence and diversify its revenue streams.
Discussions further focused on achieving operational sustainability for ongoing projects, aimed at enhancing ASBU’s innovation capabilities, expanding its media services, and reinforcing its role as a leading regional media platform.
