ABU DHABI: Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, held separate phone calls with several foreign ministers to discuss the latest regional developments following Israeli military strikes on the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Sheikh Abdullah spoke with Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto, and Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shibani.
According to the UAE Foreign Ministry, the conversations focused on the implications of the current escalation for regional security and stability. The ministers emphasized the need to support diplomatic efforts and dialogue to help resolve crises and maintain both regional and international peace.
