Minsk: Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, met with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday on the sidelines of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting in Minsk, Belarus.
At the beginning of the meeting, Sheikh Khaled conveyed the greetings of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to President Putin, along with best wishes for his health and continued prosperity for Russia and its people. In return, President Putin extended his greetings to the UAE leadership and wished the nation ongoing progress and development.
During the talks, both leaders emphasized the strength of the longstanding friendship and strategic partnership between the United Arab Emirates and the Russian Federation. They affirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on regional and international developments of mutual concern and a review of key topics on the Eurasian Economic Council's agenda. The leaders underscored the importance of supporting sustainable development goals to promote global prosperity and well-being.
