ABU DHABI: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held telephone calls today with His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait; His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar; and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.
During these talks, the leaders expressed deep concern over the serious implications of the ongoing conflict for regional and global security.
They collectively called for all involved parties to exercise maximum restraint, prioritize dialogue and peaceful solutions, and avoid any further escalation that could destabilize the region.
The discussions underscored the urgent need for diplomatic efforts to de-escalate the situation and restore stability.
The leaders reaffirmed their countries’ unity and commitment to supporting all initiatives aimed at maintaining regional peace, protecting civilian populations, and sparing the region from further crises.
These consultations are part of ongoing Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) efforts to promote stability and prevent the far-reaching impacts of conflict across the Middle East.
